Pietro in Sardegna, va riguardato come la prima parte di una ricerca più ampia condotta sui risultati delle inchieste effettuate dal C.I.S.P. nell'isola di S. Pietro, intesa a verificare se la suddetta colonia abbia mantenuto o meno la propria individualità socio-culturale e bio-antropologica. In premessa sono brevemente illustrate le cause dello spopolamento della Sardegna e la politica demografica dei governi spagnolo e piemontese. Sulla base delle risultanze emerse, l'A. sottolinea come i fatti storici della colonia ligure-tabarchina sembrino caratterizzati da avvenimenti che non trovano una collocazione nella storia della Sardegna, nel senso che il loro verificarsi e svolgersi è avvenuto in modo autonomo rispetto agli avvenimenti sardi. Objet de cette étude sont les événements historiques de la fondation et de la consolidation de la colonie allogène ligurienne-tabarquine dans l'île de S. Pietro en Sardaigne. On doit regarder l'étude comme la première partie d'une recherche plus étendue, conduite sur les résultats des enquêtes faites par le C.I.S.P. dans l'île de S. Pietro. Cette recherche veut verifier si la colonie en objet a conservé ou non son individualité sociale-culturelle et aussi bio-anthropologique. Les causes du dépeuplement de la Sardaigne et la politique démographique des gouvernements espagnol et piémontais sont brièvement illustrés dans la prémise. L'Auteur, comme résultat de ses observations, souligne que les événements historiques de la colonie en question, trouvent leur caractérisation au dehors de l'histoire de la Sardaigne: c'est à dire qu'ils se sont vérifiés et déroulés indépendamment des événements sardes. This study deals with the historical events concerning the foundation and the strenghtening of the « ligure-tabarchina » alien colony in the isle of S. Pietro, of Sardinia. It has to be regarded as the first part of a wider research based on the results of the inquires carried out by the C.I.S.P. in the isle of S. Pietro. This research wants to verify whether the mentioned colony maintained its own individuality from the socio-cultural and bio-anthropological points of view. The reasons of the depopulation of Sardinia as well as the demographic policy of Spanish and Piedmontese governments, are briefly explained in the introduction.
